
Colson Baker (born April 22 (born on April 22, 1990) is an American rapper and singer. He is also well-known as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), a songwriter, actor and a singer. He is noted for his duality of genres spanning alternative rock with hip hop.Machine Gun Kelly released four mixtapes from 2007 and 2010, before signing with Bad Boy Records. The album he released was his debut studio album called Lace Up, in 2012, and peaked at fourth place on the US Billboard 200 and contained the single that made him famous "Wild Boy" (featuring Waka Flocka Flame). General Admission (2015) and Bloom (2016) were both commercial success. The latter contained the hit single "Bad Things" with Camila Cabello, which reached the 4th spot on Billboard's Hot 100. The fourth album, Hotel Diablo (2019), included the rap genre of rock.Machine Gun Kelly debuted his fifth album called Tickets to My Downfall, in 2020; it marked the end of hip hop and an entry into the world of pop punk. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, the only rock album to do so during the same year. It also featured the hit single "My Ex's Best Friend" that climbed to the top 20 of the Hot 100. The album's sequel Mainstream Sellout (1922) was commercially successful. Machine Gun Kelly has been featured in the film techno-thriller Nerve (2016) and the horror Bird Box (2018).
