Jana Kramer, an actor and singer-songwriter who specializes in country pop music and songwriting, gained fame on television after she was cast as Alex during the final three seasons of One Tree Hill. In episodes of the show the singer-songwriter was seen performing her first country album. The album with the same title was featured within the Top 20. Thirty One by 2015 was the sequel and reached number Ten. The singer ended the decade by appearing for Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside several singles from her non-album album. The self-doubting Voices was released in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer was born and was raised in Rochester Hills Michigan. She spent her childhood listening to music from the country genre later on, she decided to explore a career in recording. However, she began her acting career as young teenager in 2002's independent horror film Dead/Undead. After a few guest appearances in All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's role as a regular on NBC Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season, 2007-2008. Kramer then appeared as Portia ranson on 90210 from 2008 to 2009 and Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. The actress was added to the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 in the role of Alex Dupre, and she continued to appear until the end of the show in 2012, part way through. Jana Kramer Kramer, during her time as Alex Dupre, on One Tree Hill signed with Elektra Records. She debuted contemporary country song I Won't Let Go in the one of the 2011 One Tree Hill episode. By the middle of 2012, the song was featured on her first complete album Jana Kramer. This song landed on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart within the Top Five. Kramer remained focused on her music career while still acting and was a part of films which enticed her fans, such as Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. Kramer's second album Thirty One, was released on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of 2015. The album was helped by Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy as well as a duet performed with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album climbed to three places in the Billboard 200 country charts and top 10 on the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her two-month stint on the 23rd episode of Dancing with the Stars ended in a fourth-place finish. In the same year, she had an adult-oriented hit song by releasing the song "Feels Like" Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
